Wallwork Truck Center/FFA Scholarship awarded to Novak

Trevor Novak, a 2010 graduate of Kindred High School, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Wallwork Truck Center, Inc. and Ford Motor Company. Novak's parents are William Novak and Jennifer Novak of Kindred. Novak plans to study Electrical Mechanical Technology at North Dakota State College of Science.

The Wallwork Ford Trucks FFA Scholarship Program is designed to recognize FFA Members' talents and accomplishments while encouraging their future academic achievements.

The Scholarship brings the total to date to 13 scholarships awarded locally by Wallwork to FFA members who are high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall, as well as current year collegiate students. This program is a part of Wallwork's overall commitment to the North Dakota FFA.

Additionally, 462 national $1,000 scholarships are being awarded on behalf of Ford Dealers and Ford Motor Company Nationally.

Wallwork has supported local agriculture starting more than 20 years before the first F-Series truck was introduced in 1948. Wallwork Truck Center has been involved with this program since it's inception in 1997. To date, the national program has awarded more than $6,056,000 in scholarships; Wallwork has given out $13,000 to members in our area.

The National FFA Organization, formerly known as the Future Farmers of America, is a national youth organization; preparing for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. There are 7,429 local chapters showing FFA's diversity of agriculture and agricultural education.
