FARGO—Fargo's Startup House is for sale.

The house at 721 9th St. N. opened in 2014 as an incubator of sorts for technological entrepreneurs.

Built around 1915, the house was thoroughly remodeled by owner Miguel Danielson, a Fargo attorney who specializes in intellectual property.

Danielson started the Startup House and covered many of its costs himself.

Danielson did not return messages seeking comment for this story. Danielson introduced the idea for the Startup House during a 1 Million Cups gathering, a regular event in the Fargo area founded by Emerging Prairie, an organization Danielson co-founded that promotes entrepreneurial spirit in the Fargo area.

Danielson said he hoped to populate the house with "rock stars" willing to work on projects that would have a positive impact on the world.

The house, which has six bedrooms and three bathrooms, is on the market for $289,800.
