West Fargo will soon get its own Wurst Bier Hall
WEST FARGO—West Fargo will soon be home to a new Wurst Bier Hall location.
A Wurst Bier Hall West Facebook post July 19th announced: "Hold on to your lederhosen. Wurst is putting their stamp on West Fargo!"
Co-owner Burt Meyers confirmed this week that the bar and restaurant will open Oct. 1 in the former home of Loren Lee's at 3179 Bluestem Drive, in a building also home to a Bottle Barn Liquor store.
Meyers said the restaurant will offer the same menu as its downtown Fargo location, which opened in 2014 at 630 1st Ave N. Wurst Bier Hall West will serve wine on tap, a rotating selection of 36 tap beers and a full bar.
Based on the success of the downtown location, Meyers said he and co-owners Lisa Meyers and Klaus Meyers had been thinking of a second location for a while. When this space became available and the bank said yes, Meyers said they jumped at the chance to expand to West Fargo.
The business partners also have plans to open BeerFish, downtown Fargo's first beer and chip shop, in the fall of 2019.
