Matzke receives MSUM scholarship

Amy Matzke, West Fargo, has received a $500 Upper Class Academic Scholarship from Minnesota State University Moorhead. The scholarship was donated to MSUM by the elementary education department. Matzke is the daughter of Debbie and Marty Matzke.

The Upper Class Academic Scholarship is available to students pursuing their first Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and completion of at least 12 MSUM credits. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement, leadership and contributions to campus and community organizations.

Arnold receives scholarship

The Communication, Speech, and Theater Association of North Dakota has announced that Sarah Arnold, a recent graduate of West Fargo High School was awarded a scholarship by CSTAND. Candidates are nominated by their coaches, who are members of CSTAND, and selected by the CSTAND Board of Directors.

Sarah is continuing her theater activities at North Dakota State University.
