Ancient biblical history tour meeting set at Faith Lutheran

The Rev. Peter and Vicki Schmidt are hosting a 15-day tour to Greece and Turkey, November 1-15, 2008.  Focus on this adventure will be "Following the Footsteps of John and Paul." An information meeting on this journey will take place Monday, May 12, at 7 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E.  Refreshments will be provided.

  Highlights of the tour include visits to all seven churches that are addressed in the Book of Revelation, and many of the cities where the Apostle Paul established churches and wrote letters to them.  The adventure includes a three-day cruise between Greece and Turkey, through the Greek Isles, including the Isle of Patmos, where John wrote the Book of Revelation.  The trip will conclude in Istanbul, Turkey, one of the most unique cities of the world.
