Anderson named Exchange Club Student of the Month
Elizabeth Anderson has been named Exchange Club Student of the Month for March.
Anderson, a senior at West Fargo, has accumulated quite a repertoire of academic and athletic accolades during her high-school career. She currently sits with a 4.0 grade point average, and is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and PAC. Anderson also volunteers her time helping students at Moorhead Elementary School.
She is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Youth Symphony as first violin, and was a State Star finisher with her orchestra chamber group.
Anderson has lettered several times for various activities, including basketball, tennis and orchestra. In fact, by the end of her senior year, she will have lettered 15 times in academics, music and athletics.
Anderson placed third at the East Region Tournament last year, and placed sixth at state (she was the first girl or boy from West Fargo to place at the tournament). Anderson has been named to the All-EDC team and Packers' MVP for three straight seasons.
Anderson has yet to decide between NDSU or the University of Minnesota for her collegiate education, but plans to major in biochemistry and pre-med.
She is the daughter of Diana and Chad Anderson, West Fargo.
