Angels for Heidi Benefit scheduled for Feb. 27
Friends and family are banding together to host a spaghetti benefit and silent auction for Heidi Schaeffer to help defray medical costs accrued during her fight against breast cancer.
The Angels for Heidi Benefit is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Speedway Events Center, West Fargo, with a social hour from 5 to 6 p.m., pasta feed and silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m., and entertainment throughout the night provided by LSI Entertainment.
Heidi, 37, was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2009. She and her husband, Dan, and daughters, Kayley and Kaitlynn, currently reside in West Fargo.
Remaining positive, Heidi stated, "I am going to win this battle with cancer with everyone's continued support. I will have ups and downs but with the strong support of my friends, family, and co-workers I will win the battle."
Tickets will be available at the door for the benefit at a cost of $5 per person.

DMF Lend A Hand is supporting the fundraising effort with up to $5,000 of matching funds.
