Drug-sniffing dogs and their handlers from the West Fargo Police Department and Cass County Sheriff's Office conducted the sweep.

The dogs indicated the presence of drugs in eight vehicles, which were then searched, Assistant Police Chief Mike Reitan stated in a news release.

In addition to the three vehicles in which marijuana or paraphernalia were found, owners of two other vehicles admitted having smoked marijuana in their vehicles, the release stated.

The juveniles were released to their parents.
