Ballweber named Exchange Club student of month for May
Ben Ballweber, a senior at West Fargo High School, has been named West Fargo Exchange Club Student of the Month for May. He is the son of Mike and Toni Ballweber.
Ben has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years, working with the Fill the Dome project. During his junior year, he was a member of the Prom Committee, helping organize and set up the grand march.
Academically, he has maintained a 3.75 grade point average in addition to taking several AP and Dual Credit classes throughout his high school years.
He's also been active athletically as a five-year variety player on the Tennis Team, his senior year, taking fifth place at EDC and sixth at state playing doubles with his brother. He was also voted onto the All-Conference Tennis Team comprised of the best tennis players in the state; and was the kicker for the football team during his senior year, when the team became EDC champs.
Ben's future plans include attending North Dakota State University, Fargo, for four years and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, for two more years to become a Physical Therapist.
