Bank robbery suspect arraigned

A suspect that was apprehended just 24 hours after a Monday afternoon, Aug. 3, armed robbery at the Town & Country Credit Union, 925 14th Ave. E., has been arraigned and is being held on $100,000 bail in the Cass County Jail.

Matthew C. Becker, 18, was charged with three counts in connection to the robbery on Thursday.

This isn't the first time Becker has had problems with the law. On probation for a prior robbery offense, Becker could get up to ten years for the credit union robbery, plus serve time for the prior conviction.
