After almost 40 years in the same location, The Barber Hut is moving to a new home.

Owner Jeremy Keller is relocating the business from its 213 East Main Avenue spot to a more accessible site with more convenient parking at 408 Sheyenne St., right across from Bell Bank & Trust.

The new headquarters is a familiar West Fargo landmark as the former longtime operating base of Doug’s Barber Service and most recently Lucky D’s.

Keller is a graduate of Moler Barber College in Fargo and has been practicing barbering for 11 years. He took over the operation of The Barber Hut the end of 2011, when shop founder Al Nelson stepped down after a 44-year career.

Keller is excited about the move to Sheyenne Street which occurred March 1. He will continue to serve his regular clientele as well as encourage new customers looking for men’s barbering services.

Hours at The Barber Hut are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments can be arranged by calling 701-282-4945.
