Bell State Bank & Trust announces video contest winners
Bell State Bank & Trust, in conjunction with the American Bankers Association, is sponsoring the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest. The goal of this promotion is to engage teenagers in educating themselves and their peers about the value of saving and using money wisely, through video. Teenagers, ages 13-18, were encouraged to create a fun and entertaining 90-second video for a chance to win one of Bell State Bank & Trust’s preliminary round prizes, and a chance to win one of the ABA national contest prizes.
Bell State Bank & Trust preliminary round prize winners are: 1st Place $500 – John Daly and Team (Fargo North High School), video titled “Save For Life” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uAR0ON2cLQ; 2nd Place $250 - Brady Huffman (Fargo North High School), video titled, “Save for What is Important” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-JW8c26yvY; and 3rd Place $250 – Sarah Reger (Fargo South High School), video titled “The Saving Teenager” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXQ2CXx5l2s.
John Daly and Team will now go on to compete in the national contest. Three national winners will be selected by a panel of financial education, media and youth engagement experts.
