Benefit for Chris Dewey at VFW
The Fraternal Order of the Police Red River Valley Lodge #1, in partnership with the West Fargo VFW Post 7564, will be holding a benefit event on Monday, Dec. 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., for Chris Dewey, the police officer from Mahnomen injured in the line of duty and presently hospitalized and recuperating.
The evening will consist of a spaghetti feed and silent auction with all proceeds going to the Dewey family.
Cost of the meal will be $5 and free will donations will also be accepted.

The event, which will be held in the lower level of the VFW at 308 Sheyenne St., is open to everyone.
