Friends including members of the Leonard Fire Department, Leonard First Responders, Leonard Lions, and Casselton Cub Scouts will host a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction on Jan. 13, to support and assist the Red Heuer family of rural Leonard, whose son Jared, 8, was severely injured in an ATV accident on Oct. 7. Jared spent 17 days in the hospital, many of those in intensive care. He has made a miraculous recovery but the bills have piled up.
The Spaghetti Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leonard Senior Center. This event will be a free will offering.
