Benefit set for Forness
Friends and family will host a Soup Feed and Silent Auction on Saturday, Oct. 13, to help Michelle Mary "Voss" Forness.
Michelle was initially diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on July 23, 2008 at the age of 44, while working as a nurse at Roger Maris Cancer Center. She returned to work after her first bout in January of 2009 only to be fighting the cancer again in December of 2009. She returned to work at Roger Maris Cancer Center in November of 2010. This third round started August of 2012 and is stage 4. She has helped many people through their cancer fight at Roger Maris Cancer Center and now friends and family are trying to help her in her time of need.
The benefit will run from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 218 10th St. S., Moorhead.
