Bennett's porky pike
When Helga Bennett was fishing three weeks ago on South Dakota's Lake Ohies, she was going for "anything you could catch."
She hardly could believe when "anything" turned into a rather large fish.
Bennett hauled in not one, but two pike that tipped the scales at more than 8 pounds apiece. One, in particular, really gave her a run for her money.
"Oh, it was a fighter," Bennett said. "We had a hard time getting him in the net because he was so long."
