The West Fargo Parish Nurses, in conjunction with the West Fargo Ministerial Association, will hold a series of Bereavement Support Group meetings for anyone experiencing grief or bereavement, with the first one scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. "Memorializing Your Loved Ones" will be presented by Naomi Marchand of West Funeral Home, with discussion and refreshments to follow.
The meetings, which are offered free of charge, alternate locations among Faith Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 210 5th Ave. W., and the Cross Way Center, 1416 16th St. E., at Lutheran Church of the Cross and Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Remaining sessions include: Sunday, Feb. 7, 1:30 p.m., a video program "Growing Through Grief" will include becoming "bitter or better" through your grief experience, experiencing spiritual growth and reaching out to others for help, at Blessed Sacrament Church; Sunday, March 7, 1:30 p.m., Sister Stella from Presentation Prayer Center will present "The Power of God in the Midst of Grief," at Faith Lutheran Church; Sunday, April 25, 1:30 p.m., a video program "When Your Spouse Dies" will identify feelings such as "Who am I now?, insecurity, and wholeness," at Lutheran Church of the Cross
