Bethany's Funfar named to NDSU Advisory Board

Carol Funfar, RN, has been named to the North Dakota State University Nursing Alumni Advisory Board.

A native of West Fargo, Funfar was named Director of Bethany Personal Care Services in March, 2004. She earned her associate degree in nursing from NDSU, and her bachelor of science in nursing (with honors) from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Funfar has worked as a staff nurse on the oncology and the medical/surgical units and as a unit manager on the medical/geriatric unit at MeritCare Hospital, as a case manager for Intrepid USA Homecare Services and as an instructor and lab assistant at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. Funfar also served as director of nursing at Moorhead Healthcare Center.

Bethany Retirement Living was founded in Fargo in 1939 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Bethany provides care to the elderly in skilled nursing, memory care, rehabilitation, transitional care, assisted living, basic care, senior apartments, adult day services and personal care programs.
