Bike and Kite Day at Rendezvous Park

The West Fargo Park District is hosting a Bike and Kite Day on Sunday, May 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rendezvous Park, 1055 32nd Ave W., West Fargo. Activities will include kite flying, a Bike Rodeo and Trailpath Bike rentals featuring Fun Cycles, Banana Peels and Surey Bikes. Refreshments will be served. Free kites will be given out to the first 100 kid's courtesy of Luther Family Ford.

The West Fargo Police Department will be sponsoring a Bike Rodeo where youth can learn how to ride their bikes safely and practice using hand signals.

Mike Gee with Wings on Strings Kite Club will be flying large, colorful kites.

Take your bike and a kite to fly and enjoy an afternoon of fun. Parents are encouraged to attend and assist youth with kite flying.
