Bonanzaville to hold Veterans Memorial Celebration on May 29

The Veterans Memorial Celebration will be held at Bonanzaville from 3 to 7 p.m. on May 29. This event is held to celebrate our region’s veterans, military and their families.

All activities are free and open to the community. The gates will open at 3 p.m. for free admission to tour the village. A tram is available at 5:30 p.m. for those with limited mobility. There will also be booths to visit of various veterans associations and related service organizations beginning at 5:30pm. A barbecue, social and musical entertainment will be held from 5:45 until 6:30 p.m., when the program will begin with speaker Virginia Kraushaar, a former Colonel from the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Bonanzaville is operated by the Cass County Historical Society.

It is the region’s largest historical attraction, with 43 buildings and more than 400,000 artifacts.
