Bonanzaville holds annual Fourth of July celebration
A 5K/10K run and walk in West Fargo will kick off this year’s second annual Fourth of July celebration at Bonanzaville.
The Bonanzaville pioneer village will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with activities beginning at noon and running until 5 p.m.
Activities this year will include train and horse-drawn wagon rides, clown and face painting, inflatable games from Games to Go, dunk tank, egg, potato sack and hoop races.
A historical scavenger hunt will be held. A parade will begin at 2 p.m. with musical entertainment provided by the Pickin’ and Rosie band.
A fireworks show sponsored by the city of West Fargo and Fargo Moorhead Convention and Visitor’s Bureau will begin at dusk.
“The fireworks show will be twice as big as last year,” said Emily Wehlander, Bonanzaville interim director.
Admission prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, military and students, $6 children 4-14, free under 3.
