Boys basketball drops third straight

The Packer boys basketball team have hit a speed bump at the most inoppurtune time, losing three consecutive games and dropping from first to third in the Eastern Dakota Conference rankings with just three games left to play.

Their most recent loss came at the hands of the Wahpteon Huskies by a score of 42-36.

Leading the Packers in that game was sophomore guard Creighton Pfau, who came off the bench to score 12 points and secure four rebounds.

The Huskies beat the Packers by making five 3-pointers and 9 free throws. West Fargo managed to make just one of each.

The 10-6 Packers can still right the ship, firstly against Grand Forks Red River, which has a one-game lead over West Fargo, tomorrow night, then against Fargo South on Friday night. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
