The boys were once again led by Darin Baltezore, who finished second with a time of 16:27.

"Darin had another good race," head coach Joe Bailey said, "but the key to our team finish was having Austin (Albrecht), Nathan (Aswege) and Parker (Rosenau) finish within two seconds of each other and ahead of Davies second runner."

Kody Coles rounded out the top five for the Packer boys with a time of 17.44.

Jen Dufner set the pace for the girls' team with a time of 15.27, but their great team score came thanks to six of their runners (Christine Baltezore, Leah Hermanson, Suzy Dullum, Brooke Grooters, Alexis Young and Andrea Milbrath) finishing from 10th to 19th.

The teams have a 10 a.m. invitational on Saturday at Johnson Park in Moorhead.
