Broton named WF Exchange Club Student of Month
Megan Broton, a senior at West Fargo High School, has been named West Fargo Exchange Club Student of the Month for February. She has maintained a 4.8 (4.0 non-weighted) grade point average, and is the daughter of Spencer and Sheila Broton, West Fargo.
Megan has been active in a variety of school endeavors including: a member of National Honor Society, Principal's Advisory Committee, West Fargo High School Challenge team, high school orchestra, F-M Area Symphony, and Courts Plus Women's League. She has also served as high school tennis captain, high school boy's tennis manager, has been involved with the North Dakota All State Orchestra for three years, received a star rating at the EDC orchestra festival three years and the state orchestra festival two years, as well as Academic All State. Away from school, Megan has helped with the annual Thanksgiving Day meal at Trinity Lutheran Church for the past couple of years, and assisted with various other volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
Her future plans include attending Concordia College, Moorhead, with her focus on English Education and playing in the orchestra.
