Camp offered for children with Asperger's Syndrome

A therapeutic interventions camp for young children living with Asperger's Syndrome will be held on Wednesday, August 19, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2010 N. Elm St., Fargo. The half-day camp will have a morning session for kindergarten through second-grade children from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m,, and an afternoon session for third, fourth, and fifth-graders, from 12:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children attending either session will be able to watch a Penny and Pals performance scheduled from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.

The sessions will include music therapy, therapeutic art, and sensory activities, provided by licensed professional therapists, and provide opportunities to help build relationships with other children with Asperger's.
