Car fire damages a West Fargo bar

A car fire forced a West Fargo bar to evacuate and firefighters to put out flames twice.

A car fire forced a West Fargo bar to evacuate and firefighters to put out flames twice. Authorities were called to the Workzone around 9:45 Saturday Night. A passerby saw flames.

When firefighters arrived, the car was engulfed. The fire had spread to a corner of the building.

The car was towed and firefighters cleared the scene. About an hour later, the fire reignited in a wall.

"Not only with the hazardous materials in the car, explosiveness of the gas and oils and those things but just having the whole building there is not exactly an ideal situation."

The vehicle was an employee's.
