Celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas at Bonanzaville
Bonanzaville will be all decked out for their old-fashioned Christmas on the Prairie on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Visit with Santa, take a sleigh ride through the village, decorate cookies, and read Christmas stories with Miss North Dakota USA, Jaci Stofferahn.
Christmas on the Prairie will help you out with your Christmas shopping, offering vendors, a book signing by Marc DeCelle, author of "How Fargo of You," and a silent auction complete with a variety of items, among them, an NDSU football signed by the team, a hotel package from the Ramada Fargo, a Red River Valley Fair family fun pack, reserved tickets to Trollwood's "Legally Blonde the Musical," FM RedHawks tickets and much more.
A fundraising chili feed will be featured all day. For $10 you can enjoy a heaping bowl of chili with all the fixings, a beverage and dessert by the Bonanza Belles. Kids under 10 are $5.
Bonanzaville, located on West Main Avenue in West Fargo, is operated by the Cass County Historical Society, with a mission to collect, display and interpret artifacts relevant to the history and cultural heritage of the Red River Valley. It is the region's largest historical attraction with 43 buildings, and more than 400,000 artifacts.
Admission to the event is free. For more information contact Kira Gilbraith at 282-2822 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
