Charlotte Tronson, 82, Fairmont Living Center, Moorhead, Minn., died on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Elim Care Center, Fargo.
Charlotte June Dally was born on April 2, 1927 at rural Grandin, N.D. to Lott and Manda (Deiseth) Dally. She graduated from rural Bohnsack, N.D. public school in 1945. On November 22, 1947, she married Richard Cripe of Amenia, N.D. Charlotte worked for the IRS in Fargo until moving to Hawthorne, Calif. where she worked for Northrup Aircraft. The family returned to North Dakota where they lived and farmed at Amenia. During this time, she was the office manager for Farmers Union in Casselton until 1973. Charlotte then worked as the office manager for Swedberg Equipment, Fargo. On May 23, 1975, she married Duane Tronson at Martin's Lutheran Church, Casselton. Upon the closing of Swedberg Equipment in 1983, she managed the office at Utility Equipment, Fargo until retiring in 1995.
Charlotte is survived by two children, Jacqueline Nelson, Greenfield, Minn. and Paul (Melinda) Cripe, West Fargo; a sister, Evelyn Bumgarner, West Fargo,; three grandchildren, Amy (Brian Rogstad) Nelson, Maple Plain, Minn., Adam Cripe and Jacob Cripe, West Fargo; and one great grandchild, Trysten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; sisters, Jeanette and Dorothy (Virgil) Gebeke; brothers, Lowell (Eunice) Dally and Donald (Judy) Dally; brother-in-law, Lloyd Bumgarner.
Visitation and a memorial service were held Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at the
West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo. Burial was at the Hunter (ND) Cemetery.
