Cheetahs crowned Grand-Am champs

The West Fargo Cheetahs fifth-grade girls basketball team recently took top honors at the Grand Am Basketball Tournament championship in Grand Forks.

They won all four of their games during the two-day tournament that ran March 25-26. The Cheetahs started with a 25-14 win over the Northern Freeze, before beating Crookston 26-8, the Grand Forks Sizzlers 19-15, and the Devils Lake Firehawks 24-16.

The West Fargo Cheetahs include: Kayla Stroh, Morgan Foss, Coach Gerald Urlaub, Kierra Freih, Karley Warnerm Coach Travis Freih, Maddie Urlaub, Britany Young, Lauren Limke, and Coach Jeff Young.
