Cheney Middle School holds fall parent-teacher conferences

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held at the Cheney Middle School, from 5 to 8:45 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 14, and Tuesday, Oct. 19. Those attending may go directly to the teacher's locations. There will be no report cards or schedules to pick up. Those attending will need to know their student's schedule.

Most conferences are not scheduled; however, parents of students whose last name begins with the letters A through K are asked to attend conferences on Thursday, Oct. 14, and the parents of students whose last name begins with the letters L through Z should attend conferences on Tuesday, Oct. 19. This will help with parking and having to stand in line. Parking will be allowed in both the east (bus loading area) parking lot as well as the main parking lot on the northwest side of the school.

Visits by parents to the school encourage positive communication with teachers and other staff. It is important everyone works together in providing the educational experiences the students deserve. Therefore, all parents are encouraged to attend the fall conference.
