City to conduct warning siren testing

The city of West Fargo will conduct warning siren testing on April 30.

MidStates Communication of Fargo has been contracted to function check all warning sirens within the city. Testing of individual sirens will begin at 9 a.m., and continue throughout the day. Additional testing may be scheduled for May 1, if necessary.

The sirens are function tested twice a year. They also receive a short operational check each day at noon. If the siren in your neighborhood fails to sound during the noon-hour test, you are asked to notify the West Fargo Police Department at 433-5500 so that the siren can be repaired.
