ND secretary of state candidate drops out after report on 2006 window-peeping incident

Clayton Faller

Clayton Faller, 90, died in Lewiston, Idaho. A memorial service celebrating his life was held at Grace Lutheran Church, Lewiston, Idaho, on Thursday, May 1.

Clayton Nels George Faller (aka Speed) was born in Swanville, Minn., on Jan. 18, 1918, to Henry and Anna Faller. He was raised in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1937. He married Anhild Dahlstrom on Aug. 7, 1942, in Seattle, Wash.

He was preceded in death by two infant brothers, William and Robert, and two adult sisters, Vivian Kouteck and Donna Erlenbusch, and his wife of 60 years, Anhild.

He is survived by his wife, Effie, his eldest son, David (Linda) of Albany, Ore.; his daughter, Karen (David) of Deer Park, Wash.; and his son, Daniel (Rebecca) of Lewiston, Idaho. Also surviving are step-children: Don Charpentier of Naches, Wash; Linda Bundy of Lewiston, Idaho; and Karen Davis of Clarkston, Wash.; sisters: Marjorie Fee (Paul) of Harwood; and June Bryan of Burnsville; and a brother, Darrell (Jan) of Naches, Wash. He had eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
