Coats for Kids drop-offs in West Fargo

Many area students will now be able to donate winter coats to those in need right from their school.

Fargo elementary schools and various West Fargo schools are partnering with The Salvation Army to serve as Coats for Kids drop-off locations for students. More information will be sent from the schools to the families it will involve.

The Salvation Army is seeking the help of the community to ensure that everyone who needs warm winter gear will get it. Donations can be dropped off at any Hornbacher’s location between April 28 and May 9.

While all winter items are needed, school-age children’s winter coats, snow pants, gloves, hats and boots are especially important.

Donor can give new or gently used items or donate financially at through our Facebook page (, which allows The Salvation Army to buy needed items for Coats for Kids and Families 2014.
