Community Presbyterian hosts annual luncheon, bazaar

A baked potato luncheon will highlight the annual Fall Baked Potato Luncheon and Bazaar to be held at Community Presbyterian Church, 702 Sheyenne St., West Fargo, on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The luncheon will feature large baked potatoes with a variety of toppings including homemade chili, taco meat, shredded cheese, sour cream, and several others. Also featured will be coleslaw, dessert and a drink.

Among the typical bazaar items will be home canned pickles, both cucumber and beet, jams and jellies, home-baked items, costume jewelry, produce and crafts.

Tickets will also be sold on a handmade quilt. The drawing for the quilt will take place shortly before Christmas. You need not be present to win with the winner notified.

The cost for the luncheon will be $6 for adults; $4 for ages 4-12; and children 3 and under will eat free.
