2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
¾ tsp. salt
¼ cup shortening
¾ cup milk
1 egg
2 cups fresh blueberries
Crumb Topping
½ cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
¼ cup butter
½ tsp cinnamon
375 degrees
Grease 9x9 or round pan
Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, shortening, milk and eggs - beat 30 seconds. Carefully stir in the blueberries. Spread batter in pan and sprinkle crumb topping. Bake at 375 degrees in a 9x9 or round pan for 45 to 50 minutes. Drizzle with glaze after baking.

½ cup powdered sugar
¼ tsp. vanilla or almond extract
2 tsp. hot water
