Delores "Lori" Loeb, 63, Fargo, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Villa Maria, Fargo, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Delores Emily Loeb was born July 17, 1947, in Bismarck. She grew up on a farm in Raleigh, N.D., and graduated there from St. Gertrude's High School. After graduation, she became certified in data processing in Minneapolis, and worked at the State Capitol in Bismarck for several years before moving to Fargo where she worked for an insurance agency.
Lori spent many years ministering to people's needs in prayer. She was very devoted to her family after their parents died. Lori loved music, reading and was a very outgoing and social person.
Lori is survived by her siblings, Sandy (Roger) Vetter, Mandan, N.D., Jeannie (David) Kellerman, Enderlin, N.D., Geri (Kenneth) Riley, Fargo, Lila (David) Shelver, Mapleton, Rita (David) Miller, Lisbon, N.D., Cindy (Ernesto) Chacon, Fargo, Diann (Ricky) Anderson, Sheldon, N.D., Ed (Kris) Loeb, Fargo, and Darrel Loeb, Wahpeton; as well as 23 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Emily (Ruschinsky) Loeb and sister, Michelle.
Visitation and a prayer service were scheduled for Friday at West Funeral Home, with er funeral held Saturday, April 23. Burial was Monday, April 25, at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Raleigh, N.D.
