Delphine Lehfeldt, 75, West Fargo, died on Monday, March 15, 2010 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Delphine Ann Doering was born on May 24, 1934 at Valley City, N.D. to Paul and Clara (Frederickson) Doering. She grew up in Tower City, N.D. and graduated from high school there. She married Glen H. Lehfeldt on September 3, 1952 at Tower City. They lived at Buffalo, N.D. a short time before making their home in the Fargo Moorhead area. She worked at various jobs including at Davon Press in West Fargo. Glen and Delphine also had a janitorial business in the area. They moved to West Fargo in 1969. He died on November 8, 1995.
She was known for her flour sack embroidered dish towels as well as her many crafts. Delphine had a special love for her two cats Mokie and Hopper.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Snyder, Fargo and Barbara (Duaine) Altman, Leonard, N.D.; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Chancy and Jennifer Snyder, Tiffany (Adam) Carpenter, Kristen Lehfeldt, Derek (Misty) Altman and Trevor (fiance, Jackie Moffet) Altman; three great-grandchildren, Parker and Riley Carpenter and Keilana Altman; and a sister, Marlys Johnson, Casselton, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Jerry; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney (Barbara) Lehfeldt; and brother, Edwin Doering.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the West Funeral Home Chapel, Casselton, N.D. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, N.D.
