District American Legion meeting set

Members of North Dakota’s American Legion Posts of the First District and their Auxiliary will be gathering in Harwood at the Harwood American Legion for their 2013 Spring District Meeting Monday evening, April 15, starting at 7 p.m. A social and steak dinner will begin at 5 p.m.

District Commander Gregory Kraiter of Harwood will preside over the session, while Department Commander Dave Rice will be the featured speaker.

Representatives will elect a new district commander and a district vice commander for the coming Legion year. Joining the members of the District will be area department committee members, department vice commander and candidates for various Legion offices seeking support at the 2013 Department Convention in Williston, June 28-30.
