Early voting sites set, absentee ballots available

There have been a lot of inquiries about early voting precincts and absentee ballots prior to the Nov. 6 general election.

For those of you who like to vote early and avoid the regular election lines and related hubbub, Cass County is once again providing that option with three early voting precincts: the Doublewood Inn, 3333 13th Ave. S., Fargo, and the Hilton Garden Inn, 4351 17th Ave. S., Fargo, both open Monday Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and the Days Inn, 2050 Governor's Drive, Casselton, from Wednesday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The early voting precincts are open to all qualified electors of Cass County so you are able to vote at any of the locations.

Absentee Ballots will also be available for the general election by tomorrow (Sept. 27), from the Cass County Auditor's Office, 211 9th St. S., Fargo. The absentee ballot applications may be picked up there, or are available online at https://vip.sos.nd.gov/absentee, or may be obtained by calling the County Auditor's Office at 701-241-5600.

The Cass County Courthouse is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
