Sarah Nikle and Matthew De Vries, Edward Jones financial advisors in West Fargo, are supporting a school supplies donation campaign by using their offices as drop-off locations for a school supplies drive.
Local residents and businesses may help those less fortunate in the community by taking items to the Edward Jones branch offices during regular business hours through Aug. 31 at either 3306 Sheyenne St. Suite 216 or 205 Sheyenne St. Suite 1 in West Fargo.
"As our world becomes more global, competition within our younger generations continues to rise, emphasizing the importance of a quality education," said Nikle. "We're proud to support the academic development of young minds in this community through this summer's school supply donation program.
"We're asking area residents to donate school supplies or volunteer their time," De Vries said. "These donations can add value as one more student will be provided with the appropriate tools to begin or continue his or her learning and development."
The items needed for the school supply drive include: tape(scotch, masking, duct), backpacks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, scissors, highlighters, pencil boxes and pouches, notebooks, pens, erasers, binders, folders, loose leaf paper but all supplies are welcome.
