The Packers were well represented at the North Dakota East-West All-Star Games on Wednesday, June 5, in Jamestown.

Both the boys team and the girls had four players on the East team.

The boys team included four seniors: forward Lucas Miller, midfielder Brady Rotert and defensemen Nolan Clark and Derek Dreher.

Miller scored the only goal of the game -- coming in the 61st minute -- to lift the East over the West team 1-0.

Goalkeeper Amy Archibald, midfielder Mara Lopez and defensemen Alyssa Stedman and Cailey Sauvageau were the senior Packers on the girls' East team in their 3-1 victory over the West.

It was pretty one-sided for the East," girls' head coach James Moe said. "Alyssa and Cailey got to start, and both played really well."

Despite having a 5-3-2 record and narrowly missing out at the state soccer tournament, four girls on the roster made West Fargo one of the most represented teams in the east's 20-player team.

"It really says a lot about the team," Moe said. "We knew there was a lot of talent on the roster, and the girls have a lot of respect for the coaches and each other. It shows how the team is improving and how hard the girls have worked and continue to work."
