Elements hotel coming together
The City Commission approved the final design plans for an Element by Westin hotel that is under construction at the northeast corner of Ninth Street South and Interstate 94 in West Fargo.
The hotel is expected to be a high-end hospitality center that is built on environmentally conscience ideals. The exterior façade will have a sleek, modern look.
“It looks like a nice hotel,” Senior Planner Tim Solberg said. Solberg said renderings have included reserved parking spots for low emission vehicles.
The hotel is expected to open this year marking a business boom in the small neighborhood after the Cambria Suites and Convention Center opened last month and the popular Blarney Stone Pub opened on May 11.
Solberg said Monday that developers of land near the hotel hope to open another restaurant in the near future.
