Family and friends will host a benefit dinner, silent auction and bake sale on Dec. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nativity Church in Fargo to help the Elizabeth Koble family.
Elizabeth is 19 months-old. She was born with Down syndrome and a hole through the four chambers of her heart. She has undergone three surgeries to repair the holes and received a pulmonary conduit and a mechanical valve that needs to be replaced as she grows.
Elizabeth has regular trips to the emergency room and regular stays at the children's hospital.
Medical and travel expenses for the surgeries are putting a financial strain on Elizabeth's parents.
Dinner will be "free will" with a $5 suggested donation.
