The Red River Valley Fair Association has completed a $1.8 million renovation to the Schollander Pavilion.

The original 1967 lobby to the Schollander Pavilion was demolished in the Fall of 2011 to create a new lobby, conference room, restroom facility and executive offices. The two story facility is the focal point of the grounds.

"This addition to the Red River Valley Fairgrounds will allow us to solicit more agricultural events that we haven't been able to host in the past.  Our new conference space is ideal for groups wanting to hold meetings and utilize the Pavilion for showcasing large equipment at the same time" stated Bryan Schulz, general manager.

The Chamber will conduct a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 21, at 3 p. m. An open house will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. with coffee and refreshments served.  The open house is open to the public.  The Red River Valley Fair Association Executive Committee Meeting will be held at 7 p.m.

The annual Red River Valley Fair will be held July 10-15, 2012.  For more information, refer to www.redrivervalleyfair.com
