Fargo Jaycees seek nominations for Outstanding Young North Dakotans
The Fargo Junior Chamber (Jaycees) and the N.D. Junior Chamber are accepting nominations for the Outstanding Young North Dakotans honors recognition program.
This prestigious honor is bestowed upon a select group of individuals who have demonstrated leadership and excellence within their local community or the state of North Dakota. Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age, inclusive, and must be a United States citizen. All nominations must be accompanied by a completed OYND nomination form.
Nominees must be available for an oral interview and the awards banquet, April 30-May 1. The awards banquet is open to the public, and will be held at the Doublewood Inn in Bismarck.
Up to three individuals may be recognized as the OYND. The 2010 OYND recipients will be forwarded to the 2011 Ten Outstanding Young Americans, honors recognition hosted by the U.S. Jaycees.
Young men and women in all fields or endeavors may be nominated. Any individual, organization, association, institution, or Jaycee chapter may submit one or more candidates. OYND recipients will be selected by a group of independent judges, additional information and criteria is provided in the OYND nomination form.
