Starting at 8 a.m., First Assembly Church at 3401 25th St. S., and Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, 3636 25 St. S., will be the primary shuttle points for volunteers to be deployed to south side dike-building sites, according to a news release.

Overflow parking is available at Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral, and volunteers can walk next door to Hope Lutheran to catch a bus.

Volunteers may also report to the Fargodome where buses will shuttle to neighborhoods for dike-building, the release stated.

Volunteers are needed in the Longfellow neighborhood in the 3100 block of Peterson Parkway starting at 10 a.m. Volunteers should walk to the site or park on neighborhood streets.

People who wish to help fill sandbags can report to the Fargodome, where buses will shuttle between the dome and Sandbag Central on a 24 hour basis.

Volunteers may show up or call the volunteer hotline at (701) 476-4000 to see where they are needed the most. Volunteers should register on-site.
