Six Cass County 4-H clubs were recently recognized by the Fargo Rotary Club as being the top 4-H clubs in the county for 2013. The Fargo Rotary Club has been recognizing 4-H clubs for the past 57 years. All clubs of excellence were honored at a Rotary Luncheon on Jan. 8. The 4-H clubs were recognized for the outstanding leadership they provide for youth to have a meaningful club experience.
Two 4-H teen members shared highlights of their 4-H experience: Kaleen Krueger, is the daughter of Lee and Sheila Krueger, Casselton and is in her 11th year as a member of the Golden Clovers 4-H Club. Anna Truax is the daughter of Gary and Kathy Truax, Erie and is in her 9th year as a member of the Building Lifetime Treasures 4-H Club.
