Fargo Rotary Club honors top 4-H clubs

Four Cass County 4-H clubs were recently recognized by the Fargo Rotary Club at their luncheon Jan. 4 as the top 4-H clubs in the county for 2011. The Fargo Rotary Club has been recognizing 4-H clubs for the past 55 years.  Patrick Donegan, Harwood Helpers 4-H member and son of Rodger and Cheryl Donegan from Harwood, and Ashley Stoppleworth, Kindred 4-H Friends 4-H member and daughter of Kevin and Denise Stoppleworth from Horace, spoke about their 4-H leadership experiences. The 4-H clubs were recognized for the outstanding leadership they provide for youth in having a meaningful club experience.

4-H clubs receiving the 2011 Fargo Rotary Club Award of Merit and the representatives attending were: Harwood Helpers (Harwood area), Cheryl and Patrick Donegan; Kindred 4-H Friends (Kindred area), Greg Lardy and Nathan Stachler; Valley Adventures (West Fargo), Tracey Johnson and Kari Mohs; and Wheatland Pioneers (Wheatland area), Andy, Julie and Brooke Levos.
