Fiber Arts Festival set for July 24, 25 at Bonanzaville
More than 50 fiber artists will gather at Bonanzaville in West Fargo for the third annual Fiber Arts Festival set for Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25. Those participating will demonstrate dozens of techniques, from braiding to naalbinding, from carding and spinning to knitting and weaving. In-depth classes are also offered, with registration required.
There will be hands-on activities for all ages including: making a dishcloth on a knitting machine, dying a silk scarf, or you can try carding, weaving, origami and more. Attendees can vote for their favorite entry in the "Beyond Tradition" exhibit.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission will be $8 for adults, and $4 for juniors age 6-16. A two-day pass is available for $8. There will be free parking and lunch available on the grounds.
