Frost advisory issued for Tuesday morning

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Area gardeners may want to cover their plants today.

The National Weather Service here has issued a frost advisory for 3 to 9 a.m. Tuesday for all of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall into the lower to mid-30s, causing widespread areas of frost to form, which could injure or kill sensitive plants, the weather service says.
